500th Anniversary of Luther “Nailing It”
Celebrated with new Luther Rock Opera
Dear Media Friends,
Thank you for you interest in Luther The Rock Opera. And thank you for helping 900 million Protestants world-wide commemorate the Teutonic and tectonic events 500 years ago this October 31 when one stormy monk stood against church and state and declared: “Here I stand!”
Along with an awareness of how these events triggered the end of the Medieval Era and the birth of the Modern Era, we’re hoping to use this theater piece to raise awareness and funds for emergency disaster relief world-wide through our charity partner, Lutheran World Relief, https://lwr.org/luthertherockopera.
In this press packet you’ll find:
Here’s a sample of a short podcast interview of the creators of Luther The Rock Opera, taped 50 feet from the Wittenberg Door on the night before the world debut by Jeremy Fowler-Lindemulder. It will give you an introduction to what went into the development of the project.
